Sales Supervisor – Transportation Safety

About the role

The Sales Supervisor – Transportation Safety will lead a team of sales representatives in Thailand, driving revenue growth for 3M’s transportation safety solutions across government, commercial, healthcare and industrial sectors. You will coach staff, manage key accounts and distributors, and ensure the delivery of high‑quality safety products to a diverse customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate professional and support level sales staff, providing direction to internal and external partners.
• Train the team, monitor performance metrics and handle escalated customer inquiries.
• Develop and implement process improvements and tools aligned with business and strategic plans.
• Lead the Transportation Safety work group (sales, marketing, application engineering) with clear priorities and accountability.
• Manage distributors, key accounts and end‑customer relationships throughout Thailand, including government agencies.
• Analyze market trends, create sales strategies and territory plans to grow revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of B2B sales, field sales or account/distributor management experience, preferably in transportation safety, industrial or automotive markets.
• Proven leadership experience leading sales teams, coaching performance and managing sales execution.
• Familiarity with transportation safety products, roadway safety solutions and related infrastructure markets.
• Experience working with distributors, channel partners, contractors, government agencies or large commercial accounts.
• Strong business acumen: forecasting, sales planning, pricing discussions and cross‑functional coordination.
• Fluent English, own vehicle and willingness to travel nationwide regularly.

Required skills

• Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM tools.
• Proficient computer skills for data analysis and reporting.
