Senior Accounting and Controlling Officer (External)

About the role

The Senior Accounting and Controlling Officer (External) will support digital transformation and financial governance across the China and Thailand regions, acting as a trusted partner to the Sales Department and ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and support digital transformation initiatives, including AI‑enabled solutions, across China and Thailand to improve process efficiency.
• Partner with the Sales Department to analyse business performance, provide financial insights and support strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare the Enterprise Service Model to establish and optimise shared‑service accounting processes and transaction recording.
• Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely collection, verification and processing of VAT documentation in line with local tax regulations.
• Support accounting, controlling and compliance projects and undertake special initiatives delegated by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management or a related field.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Copilot, Generative AI or related digital technologies (advantage).
