Senior Associate – Field Technical Service Engineer

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to provide field technical service engineering support for eye‑care equipment in Bangkok and the lower North‑East region of Thailand. You will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and upgrading medical devices, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install new equipment and conduct product demonstrations for sales and client training.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on installed devices.
• Coordinate service activities with sales representatives and keep clients informed of progress.
• Generate and submit detailed reports on inspections, maintenance, installations, and upgrades to the line manager.
• Present and negotiate medical equipment maintenance contracts with clients.
• Identify equipment that requires upgrades and manage the upgrade process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or a related medical device field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with medical equipment; 3 years preferred, especially in ophthalmology.
• Strong command of spoken, written, and reading English.

• Equipment installation and commissioning.
