Senior Civil Engineer – Land Infrastructure

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead land infrastructure design in Bangkok. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering complex road, drainage, stormwater and earthwork projects for a global client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed design of roads, drainage, stormwater management systems, earthworks and pavement structures.
• Conduct basic geotechnical investigations and interpret results.
• Review and validate engineering calculations, drawings and specifications for compliance with local and international standards.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines, external consultants and contractors to ensure constructability.
• Assist the Team Leader with project planning, resource scheduling, progress tracking and client presentations.
• Support preparation of technical reports, proposals, tender documentation and cost estimates.
• Ensure designs meet relevant codes, regulations and sustainability requirements.
• Perform site visits and inspections as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil infrastructure, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Registered Professional Engineer licensure.
• Proven experience designing roads, drainage, utilities and related civil systems.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles applied to civil projects.
