Senior Civil Engineer, Land Infrastructures

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join its Infrastructure business in Bangkok. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver complex land infrastructure projects that support economic development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed design of road networks, drainage and stormwater management systems, earthworks and pavement structures.
• Conduct basic geotechnical investigations and interpret results.
• Review and validate engineering calculations, drawings and specifications for compliance with local and international standards.
• Provide technical oversight and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines, external consultants and contractors to ensure constructability.
• Assist the Team Leader with project planning, resource scheduling, progress tracking, design review meetings and client presentations.
• Support preparation of technical reports, proposals, tender documents and cost estimates.
• Ensure all designs meet relevant codes, regulations and sustainability requirements.
• Perform site visits and inspections as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil infrastructure projects, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Registered Professional Engineer licensure.
• Proven experience designing roads, drainage, utilities and related civil systems.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and their application.
