Senior Engineer, Process Quality

About the role

The Senior Engineer, Process Quality will lead advanced quality planning activities for supplier parts, ensuring compliance with customer and internal standards throughout prototype, pre‑production and production phases. This role involves coordinating PPAP submissions, measurement system analyses, and environmental compliance within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Supplier Advanced Quality Planning (SAQP) activities, including kick‑off meetings, supplier process sign‑off, and PPAP approval.
• Develop and maintain Prototype, Pre‑production, and Production Control Plans and Measurement System Analysis Plans.
• Conduct gage studies (R&R, bias, linearity, stability) and implement corrective actions to improve measurement reliability.
• Implement Manufacturing Quality Systems for prototype and pre‑production builds, such as Incoming Inspection Instructions and Containment Instructions.
• Prepare and deliver PPAP packages and other AQP deliverables (Control Plans, Capability Studies, PFMEA, DFMEA, gage designs) on schedule.
• Perform capability studies for special characteristics and ensure customer and internal requirements are met.
• Coordinate color/appearance approval processes and manage related customer documentation.
• Support environmental aspect and impact evaluations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
