Senior Officer - Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Officer to lead the end‑to‑end procurement cycle for indirect materials and services in our Thailand site. The role will ensure alignment with business objectives, drive supplier relationships and support digital transformation of procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full procurement process for indirect goods and services, from sourcing to contract management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Lead sourcing initiatives and promote digital tools to improve efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate risks, support supplier development and conduct negotiations.
• Act as the Single Point of Contact for site‑specific procurement or contribute to a cluster team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and represent Procurement as an equal partner in sourcing projects.
• Adapt to evolving business needs, including project procurement management and digitalisation efforts.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Chemistry, Business, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; procurement experience is a plus.
• Experience in a multi‑group chemical company is preferred.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
