Senior Protection Manager – Case Management

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) seeks a Senior Protection Manager to lead case management activities for displaced populations along the Thailand‑Myanmar border. This role will ensure that vulnerable individuals receive timely, appropriate protection services and are empowered to make informed decisions about their futures.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of integrated legal, medical and psychosocial case management services.
• Coordinate multi‑sectoral protection interventions to promote safety, dignity and self‑reliance.
• Lead data‑driven monitoring and advocacy to improve protection outcomes.
• Support transition programs that build employability and life‑skill capacities for refugees.
• Ensure gender equality, diversity and inclusion are mainstreamed across all activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in humanitarian protection and case management, preferably in Southeast Asia.
• Strong understanding of refugee protection frameworks and the Thailand‑Myanmar context.
• Ability to lead teams, manage partnerships and influence stakeholders.
• Commitment to gender equality, diversity and evidence‑based decision‑making.
