Senior QA Automation Engineer (FX)

About the role

Join LSEG’s FX vertical as a Senior QA Automation Engineer, responsible for elevating the quality and reliability of high‑performance foreign‑exchange trading platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber‑JVM, SQL and Maven.
• Test FIX protocol workflows, including pricing, quote and order processing.
• Perform server‑side, API, integration and database testing for the PriceStream platform.
• Support infrastructure and deployment testing on AWS (Viking) cloud environments.
• Execute functional, regression, performance (load, stress, fault tolerance) and security testing.
• Utilise Docker and Kubernetes to set up and automate test environments.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong knowledge of QA processes and best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with Java‑based test automation tools.
• Familiarity with FIX protocol testing and API/GUI/database testing.
• Experience with cloud (AWS) and container (Docker, Kubernetes) environments.
