Supply Chain Manager - APAC

About the role

International Dairy Queen is looking for a Supply Chain Manager based in Thailand to support its APAC region. The role gives supply chain leadership, direction and support to franchisees and DQ team members across the region, where Dairy Queen operates in 8 countries and grows rapidly. Franchisees run their own day-to-day supply chains, so the manager's main function is to offer supply chain support and oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure continuity of supply from regional suppliers and guide product sourcing for limited-time offers
• Assist with cost savings opportunities and develop sourcing and distribution strategies for new countries entering the APAC region
• Manage and maintain an efficient supplier network for APAC markets, including identifying local and regional suppliers that meet regulatory and company requirements
• Consolidate volume across markets to achieve better collective pricing
• Work with APAC teammates in Product Development, Marketing, Food Safety, Quality and Operations, and with franchisees and vendors
• Meet with APAC franchisees on supply chain matters and implement corrective action plans with suppliers
• Support the marketing plan and calendar and new country projects using the DEDVIM process so new products are ready and available
• Support the product approval process and ensure stable, cost-effective supply of quality food, packaging and equipment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• 6-8 years of experience in foodservice sourcing and supply chain, with knowledge of import/export
• Experience within a franchisor organization is a plus, preferably a Western QSR brand
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Able to travel up to 20% of the time and work occasionally on evenings and weekends, including obtaining visas to travel to various countries

Required skills

• Familiarity with the foodservice and distribution/supply industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, multi-task in a deadline-driven environment and pay close attention to detail
