Technical & Brand Change Manager

About the role

Diageo's Supply Chain and Manufacturing function covers production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships across more than 100 sites. Reporting to the Head of Customer Service Thailand, this role acts as the Technical Supply Business Partner in the Thailand market, supporting the delivery and commercialisation of innovation and brand change initiatives. It also provides specialist leadership in governance areas such as Health & Safety, Wellbeing, Quality, Environmental Sustainability, Supply Audits, Risk Management and Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Marketing, Finance, Commercial and Supply teams on new product launches, product renovations and brand change projects, from project start to product availability.
• Advise on sourcing strategies, route-to-market optimisation, cost efficiency, economies of scale, packaging solutions and project timelines.
• Lead packaging development, validation and testing to protect product integrity and quality.
• Drive productivity and continuous improvement from a technical supply perspective.
• Act as the market Health & Safety Champion, delivering communications, training and capability programmes with the Regional Health & Safety team.
• Lead governance and technical compliance initiatives in Thailand.
• Ensure manufacturing partners, including third-party producers and packaging suppliers, comply with local regulations, environmental standards, health and safety rules, Diageo risk and operational excellence standards and ethics policies.
• Monitor supplier performance for delivery, quality, sustainability and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
• At least 5 years' experience in governance, quality, technical operations and supply chain, preferably in beverages, alcoholic drinks, FMCG or CPG.
• Proven experience in Quality Management, Innovation & Brand Change and Project Management.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; distilling and/or bottling experience is an added advantage.
• Governance auditing experience or auditor certification is highly desirable.
