Technical Development Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Development Lead to turn business problems into practical software solutions. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will work closely with the Product Manager to own technical direction, engineering delivery, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Shape solutions by partnering with product and business leadership to clarify problems, explain trade‑offs, define scope, and recommend practical technical paths.
• Own solution design, leading system architecture, ensuring security and performance, managing technical debt, and staying close to implementation through code reviews and prototyping.
• Lead delivery by breaking down solutions into incremental releases, improving CI/CD and automated testing, and owning production readiness and incident resolution.
• Develop the team through coaching, regular feedback, hiring, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, blame‑free culture.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineers.
• Strong hands‑on experience with backend services, APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Proven solution design skills with the ability to compare alternatives and choose the appropriate level of complexity.
• Experience with cloud environments, automated testing, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Clear English communication skills to make complex technical topics understandable to both engineers and business stakeholders.
