Technical Officer (DISC)

About the role

The Technical Officer (DISC) at Bureau Veritas in Bangkok supports the QHSE product under the DISC and Transportation Scheme, collaborates with the ICC, and ensures the smooth execution of certification and audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative review of audit documentation for QHSE products and ensure timely certification decisions.
• Print certificates after certification approval and monitor the certification timeline.
• Coordinate with ICC and local teams on audit documentation to achieve certification outcomes.
• Review and monitor surveillance audit documentation.
• Prepare, collect, and maintain documents for auditor and technical expert qualification processes.
• Arrange and witness audits for auditor qualification, support industrial code allocation, and organize required training.
• Maintain the auditor/specialist qualification database and update relevant authorities as needed.
• Participate in internal and AB audits, update the certification client database, and inform local AB of certified clients.
• Support document control in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021‑1.
