About the role
Substitute teaching at CMIS offers a rewarding experience in small classes of fewer than 20 engaged, motivated, and respectful students, supported by an active parent community.
Key responsibilities
- Follow the lesson plans prepared by the regular teacher.
- Teach the assigned class periods and manage classroom behavior.
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct consistent with Christian values and Thai cultural expectations.
- Adapt quickly to varied assignments, sometimes on short notice.
Required profile
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, a 2‑year diploma, or an equivalent credential.
- Openness to working in a Christian‑values‑based environment.
- Respect for and sensitivity to staff and students of all cultures and beliefs.
- Professionalism in appearance and behavior.
- Willingness to follow teacher‑provided lesson plans.
- Flexibility to accept a variety of assignments, sometimes with limited notice.
What we offer
- 1 teaching period: 400 Baht.
- 2 teaching periods: 850 Baht.
- 3 or more teaching periods: 1,700 Baht.
