About the role
The Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) seeks an individual contractor to support its Trade, Investment and Innovation Division in advancing trade facilitation, paperless trade, and the implementation of the Cross‑Border Paperless Trade Agreement (CPTA) across the region.
Key responsibilities
- Collect essential information related to trade facilitation, paperless trade, and CPTA.
- Conduct background studies on paperless trade and CPTA.
- Support additional tasks linked to trade facilitation and CPTA implementation as directed by the division leadership.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or higher in economics or a related field.
- At least two years of research or professional experience in economics, business, or trade.
- Fluency in English.
