Trading Platform Administrator (MT5 Certified)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Trading Platform Administrator with MT5 certification to manage and optimise the MetaTrader 5 infrastructure for a fast‑growing Forex/CFD broker in Bangkok. The role combines technical stewardship of the server stack with close collaboration with dealing desk, risk and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the full MT5 server stack (Trade Server, Manager, Admin, Gateway) to ensure high availability, security and performance.
• Configure symbols, groups, commission, swap and margin settings in line with business policies.
• Maintain plugins and bridges linking MT5 to liquidity providers, CRM and payment gateways.
• Plan and execute server upgrades, patches, backups and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Monitor platform security, detect and mitigate exploits, arbitrage abuse and latency attacks.
• Collaborate with dealing desk, risk and compliance to align platform configuration with risk appetite.
• Serve as the primary MT5 contact for technical and business stakeholders, documenting SOPs and incident reports.
• Provide on‑call support for after‑hours platform incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience administering MT5 servers, including Manager, Admin, Gateway and Bridge components.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• MT5 certification from MetaQuotes or an equivalent recognised credential.
• Strong understanding of Forex/CFD broker mechanics such as spreads, commissions, swaps, margin and leverage.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, networking and security fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment.
