Communications Intern – Bangkok

About the role

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is seeking a part‑time Communications Intern for its Corruption and Economic Crime Hub in Bangkok. The six‑month, unpaid internship runs for 20 hours per week and supports the Hub’s communications strategy and outreach activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing communications activities for the Hub.
• Draft and edit web stories, short articles, newsletters, and social‑media content.
• Prepare communication products such as presentations, brochures, and visibility materials.
• Update and maintain web content and content trackers.
• Compile inputs for communication outputs across teams and countries.
• Conduct basic research to support outreach initiatives.
• Support internal coordination, including note‑taking and follow‑up actions.
• Organise communication‑related materials and perform other tasks as required.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently completed a graduate programme, or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree.
• Field of study closely related to communications, media, or public information.
• Willingness to learn, strong written communication skills, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
