Lead Engineer, Electrical

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Lead Engineer, Electrical to join its Built Environmental business in Bangkok. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design and deliver complex building and infrastructure projects, applying innovative engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design electrical and communication systems for buildings and infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed calculations and construction documentation.
• Develop and maintain detailed Revit models and BIM templates.
• Update and modify existing models and documents as required.
• Lead design coordination meetings, perform clash detection, and resolve issues with other trades.
• Support information exchange processes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide coordination assistance during construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical and communication system design (data‑center experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of design modelling principles and drawing standards.
• Proficient in English.
• Engineering licence (Thai) or professional engineering licence is advantageous.
• Familiarity with BIMForum LOD, AIA and NBIMS standards.
• Good understanding of construction technology and practices.
