Senior Health Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Senior Health Manager to lead the delivery of family planning, health insurance facilitation, and community‑led WASH services across nine refugee camps in Mae Hong Son province, Thailand. Reporting to the Health Coordinator, you will ensure high‑quality health interventions that align with the Thai government’s transition plan.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day implementation of family planning services in Mae Ra Ma Luang and Mae La Oon camps.
• Facilitate the use of health insurance by refugees across all nine camps.
• Support essential community‑led WASH services in seven camps.
• Supervise, mentor, and train camp‑based staff to maintain service quality.
• Coordinate with the Royal Thai Government and IRC partners to transition health service provision to government systems.
• Advocate for sustainable health solutions and social cohesion among refugee populations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing health programs in humanitarian or refugee settings.
• Ability to supervise and train multidisciplinary field staff.
• Strong understanding of family planning, health insurance mechanisms, and WASH interventions.
• Excellent coordination skills with government agencies and NGOs.
