Accountant – Finance Team (Bangkok, Thailand)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented finance professional to join our growing team. This role offers hands‑on exposure across core accounting functions, regional collaboration, and strong learning opportunities within a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Finance Manager to oversee all accounting processes.
• Assist in monitoring and implementing controls for all accounting functions.
• Manage treasury functions and cash‑flow planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate month‑end closing and reporting.
• Review journals, reconciliations and monthly schedules.
• Support forecasting and budgeting exercises.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Handle taxation matters according to local regulations.
• Liaise with external auditor, tax agent and corporate secretarial agent.
• Ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements.
• Propose system and process improvements.
• Collaborate with various departments to resolve operational matters.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of IFRS.
• At least 3 years of experience as an operational/financial accountant.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of Thailand tax regulations (WHT, VAT).
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong numeracy, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA, ACCA or equivalent desirable).
