About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Thailand seeks a reliable driver to support staff, visitors, and program operations across multiple provinces. The role ensures safe, timely transportation while maintaining vehicle readiness in line with IRC policies and Thai traffic regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate IRC vehicles safely, adhering to Thai traffic rules and IRC safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate vehicle log sheets and ensure all documentation, including camp passes, is on board.
• Coordinate vehicle license renewal and manage minor repairs as needed.
• Transport documents, materials, and equipment to designated locations per supervisor instructions.
• Provide courteous transport services for IRC staff and external visitors.

Required profile

• Valid Thai driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Demonstrated ability to follow strict safety and operational procedures.
• Flexibility to work on varying schedules and respond to urgent transport needs.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle repairs.
