Senior Casework Officer

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Senior Casework Officer to join its Protection and Empowerment Programme operating along the Thailand‑Myanmar border. The role will support displaced populations in Tak, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi and Mae Hong Son provinces, helping them build self‑reliance and plan for the future.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate legal, medical and psychosocial services to provide integrated protection assistance.
• Support employability and life‑skill development programmes for crisis‑affected people.
• Promote gender equality, diversity and inclusion across all activities.
• Use data to inform evidence‑based decision‑making and advocacy for improved protection outcomes.

Required profile

• Solutions‑driven, passionate change‑maker committed to humanitarian impact.
• Experience working in protection, empowerment or related humanitarian programmes.
