Vice President, Commercial Finance & FP&A – Bangkok (Relocation)

About the role

Agoda is seeking a Vice President to lead its Commercial Finance and FP&A functions from Bangkok, with relocation support. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will partner with senior leaders to shape financial strategy, drive growth, and ensure operational excellence across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies that enable growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
• Collaborate with business verticals to understand economics and drive long‑term profitable growth.
• Lead annual budgeting, long‑range planning, and quarterly forecasting for the division.
• Own the monthly financial review and board‑level presentation process, linking results to business performance storytelling.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders on business case development, scenario modeling, and KPI/dashboard creation.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and risk/compliance authorities.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing finance team while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of professional experience, including FP&A experience.
• At least 8 years in a management role.
• Bachelor’s degree from a competitive program; MBA is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities, executive presence, and excellent communication skills.
• Proven financial modeling expertise and experience creating C‑level presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, and work independently with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Fantastic or other planning tools.
• Familiarity with OneStream.
• Knowledge of Hyperion/HFM.
• Experience using Essbase.
• Proficiency with Tableau.
