Director, Launch

About the role

The Regional Asia Launch Director coordinates, executes and monitors launch activities across the Asia region, preparing plants for product launches and mid‑cycle enhancements. The role reports to the Executive Director, APAC Operation and works closely with program management and plant teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and own multiple plant and cross‑regional launch activities, ensuring 100% compliance with Adient Launch & Change processes.
• Collaborate on regional financial and commercial plans, including profit budgets, capital appropriation requests and cost tracking.
• Drive monthly launch readiness reviews, onsite build events and timely escalation of roadblocks.
• Standardise launch processes across all Asian plants and ensure health, safety and environmental compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in operations, project or launch management with multi‑country responsibility.
• Strong automotive manufacturing and logistics background.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work across multiple Asian countries.

• Prodash System and Plant Launch Dashboard (PLD) usage.
• Financial planning, budgeting and capital expenditure management.
• Risk assessment and HSE compliance.
