Sales Manager - NPWT & MedSurgical Devices

About the role

Solventum, formerly 3M Health Care, is looking for a Sales Manager for its Medical Device & Supply business covering Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). The role drives the business using the company's science, market-leading technologies, trusted brand and global reach, and is accountable for the sales plan, account plan and sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets. It also acts as a team leader, supporting the Division Sales Leader and working with customers, clinical sales specialists and the clinical team to grow OR business and create demand.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, manage and motivate a team of sales representatives, and resolve issues and conflicts related to direct reports
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including market analysis, forecasting and identification of new opportunities
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders, and identify new business opportunities
• Assign sales territories and accounts, coach sales reps on key concepts, monitor activity and give feedback
• Analyze sales results and recommend course corrections based on data
• Hold monthly performance conversations with all direct reports
• Collaborate across functions and coordinate decisions affecting the area of responsibility
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical device and supply area for the operating room, and carry out other duties assigned by the Country Business Leader

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in business, medical science or a related field
• At least 3 years of proven experience in medical device or healthcare sales management
• Proven record of motivating and developing a team of salespeople
• Good command of writing and speaking English
• Self-motivated, able to work under time pressure and independently
