Service Sales Engineer

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY (THAILAND) LIMITED is looking for a Service Sales Engineer in Rayong, Thailand. The role drives service sales in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager, focusing on installed base penetration and selling the full service product portfolio. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the service sales strategy, promote upgrades, retrofits and value-added solutions, and prepare sales plans and recovery plans
• Use the installed base management tool ServIS to identify and develop sales opportunities across the service portfolio
• Generate leads, explore new service portfolios and build long-term customer relationships through technical knowledge of Life Cycle Management (LCM)
• Monitor sales proposals and tenders, prepare service offerings and contract details, and manage the administrative sales process and risk reviews
• Represent Hitachi Energy at trade fairs, exhibitions and customer meetings, and contribute to price and quality risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, and uphold safety and integrity

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; electrical engineering degree is an advantage
• Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong communication and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel, proactive, resilient and customer-oriented

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work with internal and external parties as a team player
