Technical Account Manager – Energy Industry

About the role

ABB is seeking a Technical Account Manager to support its Energy Industries division in Thailand. You will act as a trusted advisor for key customers, ensuring their technical needs are met and driving value from ABB services.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively support assigned accounts, anticipate customer needs and manage service contract deliverables.
• Provide evolution plans, life‑cycle reports and performance metrics for plant fleets under service agreements.
• Measure, report and present service value to stakeholders such as Maintenance Managers and Plant Managers.
• Identify service and system sales opportunities to expand ABB’s footprint and grow service contracts.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience with control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA architectures and industrial communication protocols in oil & gas or power generation.
• Proven ability to translate technical constraints into operational impact for plant and maintenance managers.
• Strong communication skills in Thai and English, with experience orchestrating cross‑functional technical teams.
