Accounting Assistant (OS) - Tax Services

About the role

PwC is hiring an Accounting Assistant (OS) in its Tax and Legal services line of service, based in Bangkok with hybrid working. The role sits in Tax services and supports clients with local and overseas tax affairs, including indirect taxes, dispute resolution and global enterprise tax solutions. It covers international tax, mergers and acquisitions, state and local tax accounting, regulatory processes, tax reporting and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all necessary bookkeeping in line with laws, regulations and finance outsourcing conditions
• Process tax compliance work (monthly withholding tax, VAT and payroll) in line with laws and regulations
• Prepare financial reports and tax returns
• Provide tax compliance and accounting support to multiple client service teams working on engagements
• Own daily, weekly, monthly and annual tax and accounting tasks for clients
• Plan, direct and complete projects and tasks by agreed deadlines
• Maintain client relationships, ensure client satisfaction and lead change effectively

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 0-3 years of accounting experience
• Fair command of written English
• Service-minded, can-do attitude and ability to work under high pressure

Required skills

• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage
