Branch Banking Manager

About the role

Eastspring, a global asset manager with Asia at its core, is hiring a Branch Banking Manager for its Mitrtown office in Bangkok. The role manages sales to meet the targets of the responsible Branch Banking region or zone and coordinates with banks on customer complaints and product promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales to achieve the target of the responsible Branch Banking region or zone.
• Respond to branch banking inquiries, service or transaction requests and keep communication clear between all parties.
• Resolve problems accurately, on time and professionally, and coordinate with banks on customer complaints, resolution and compensation.
• Answer calls from investment professionals about mutual fund offerings, services and operating procedures.
• Recommend asset allocation models and suitable investments based on client objectives, horizon and risk tolerance.
• Co-host seminars with banks on the investment climate and financial markets to up-sell or cross-sell Eastspring products.
• Provide professional answers on investment, market insights, fund operations (error-transaction process, dividend payment dates, fund holidays).
• Deliver product presentations, competitor reviews and market commentaries as needed.
• Present the seller development plan and new customer sales plan to the Sales Head quarterly.
• Coordinate, support and develop relationships with regional and zone managers, and carry out other tasks assigned by the team head and senior leaders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry; mutual fund experience preferred.
• IC and IP license.

• Strong knowledge of retail banking products and services (deposits, loans, SME banking)
• Branch operations management and process optimization
• Risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements

• Familiarity with core banking systems and digital banking platforms
