Airport Services Supervisor – Phuket

About the role

Emirates is seeking an experienced Airport Services Supervisor to ensure that all ground handling activities at Phuket operate smoothly, safely and in line with the airline’s commercial, safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse potential operational disruptions such as over‑bookings, adverse weather, flight delays or crew limitations and implement proactive measures.
• Brief handling agents, caterers and other service providers on Emirates’ daily operational requirements, including any special handling.
• Oversee post‑flight activities to protect revenue, manage dead‑load handling and ensure accurate processing at onward stations.
• Respond to passenger queries, complaints and claims promptly to maintain confidence.
• Process baggage claims, manage expenditures on damaged or lost baggage, and support ticket‑desk operations when required.
• Coach, develop and brief airport services agents, ensuring they meet required customer‑service standards.
• Assist the Airport Services Manager with staff performance reviews and feedback within the Performance Matters framework.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience in airport ground handling or airline operations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial, safety and security policies applicable to airline operations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external agencies, including handling agents, service providers and regulatory authorities.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills to mitigate operational disruptions.
• Experience handling passenger complaints, baggage claims and ticket‑desk functions.
