Accounts Payable Finance Officer

About the role

HRnetOne is hiring an AP Finance professional in Thailand. The role covers recording and processing accounts payable transactions, preparing audit documentation and handling tax and trade-related accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process accounts payable transactions, including invoice and expense accruals.
• Review and verify supporting documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and organize financial documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
• Prepare and submit Withholding Tax (WHT) documentation and related filings.
• Handle trade and non-trade transactions, and process purchasing transactions including import/export customs documentation.
• Record monthly accruals so expenses are recognized in the correct accounting period.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and other parties on invoices, payments and documentation.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and perform other finance duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, general accounting or a similar finance role.
• Knowledge of Thai tax requirements, including WHT, VAT and accruals.
• Experience with trade and non-trade transactions, purchasing documents and expense claims; familiarity with customs and import/export documentation is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• ERP system or accounting software experience is an advantage.
• Attention to detail, good organization and analytical skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills, able to work independently and in a team.
