Associate I – Advisory – Client & Customer Services

About the role

Marsh Thailand is looking for an Associate I to join its Advisory team in Bangkok. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on managing client relationships and delivering risk solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory on smaller, less complex books of business and manage day‑to‑day client relationships.
• Develop and execute renewal and placement strategies together with the Placement team, Advisory Leader and Client Executive.
• Analyze carrier quotes, prepare clear recommendations and support senior colleagues on RFPs and product development.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure policy specifications reflect agreed coverage.
• Build and maintain market and client contacts to execute client programs effectively.
• Contribute to institutional knowledge by staying current with risk and insurance market changes.
• Help retain clients through timely, practical risk solutions and consistent service excellence.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
• 6–10 years of experience in insurance advisory, broking or related risk/placement functions.
• Solid technical knowledge of insurance products and coverages across relevant lines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and compare carrier quotes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients and market contacts.

Required skills

• Ability to analyze carrier quotations and produce concise recommendations.
