Associate Structural Engineer – High‑Rise Buildings

About the role

Aurecon is looking for an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to lead high‑rise building projects in Bangkok. You will join the Infrastructure business, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex structural designs for a variety of infrastructure and property developments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead engineering/drafting teams on medium to large‑scale projects, ensuring schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and coach team members to develop their technical skills.
• Deliver project outputs that meet quality standards within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Produce designs, documentation, reports, proposals, and specifications for projects of reasonable complexity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer licence from the Council of Engineers, Thailand (preferred).
• Approximately 15 years of design experience in a consulting engineering environment.
• Strong English communication skills and computer literacy.
• Passion for continuous learning and innovative engineering solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RAPT, ETABS, SAP2000 and SAFE (advantage).
• Design experience in reinforced concrete, post‑tensioned, and steel structures for building/property sectors.
• Experience with tall‑building and large‑scale project design (advantage).
