About the role
Michelin is looking for an Automation Design / Project Engineer in Laem Chabang. The engineer provides the equipment needed to meet project objectives at the best performance/cost ratio, using the applicable standards, and leads the pre-study to define the most effective solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the pre-study to define the most effective solutions.
- Manage the design or integration while respecting the best practices of the business, including internal and external standards, the quality system, knowledge management and archiving, in collaboration with all relevant professions.
- Pilot the realization, installation and commissioning of the equipment.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation, Control, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in automation design and project work.
- Native Thai speaker with good English communication.
- Must pass an automation test on the selection day; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Required skills
- PLC Siemens and Allen Bradley are preferable.
