Automation Platform Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD)

About the role

Kyndryl is hiring an Automation Platform Engineer in Bangkok. The role suits an experienced Platform Automation Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Infrastructure Specialist who enjoys building and running scalable, resilient and secure technology platforms in enterprise environments. The engineer manages hybrid infrastructure, implements Infrastructure-as-Code and supports mission-critical production systems, and must communicate fluently in Thai and English.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, manage and optimize scalable, resilient and secure technology automation platforms.
• Build, maintain and support hybrid infrastructure across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Design, develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure platform availability, reliability, performance, security and disaster recovery readiness.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, patching, upgrades and security controls.
• Support application release management and production deployments.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with development, operations, security and engineering teams to improve platform capabilities.
• Implement monitoring, observability and logging solutions, and contribute to platform modernization and DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Linux or Windows administration, middleware, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, containers or infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or mission-critical production environments.
• Strong understanding of automation, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Fluent Thai and English, able to work in a multicultural, high-pressure environment.
• Preferred: BFSI or other highly regulated enterprise experience, Kubernetes/OpenShift/Docker experience, security and DR knowledge, and cloud/DevOps certifications.
