Business Development Specialist

About the role

Mercer is looking for a Business Development Specialist to join its Wealth Team in Bangkok. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on growing the Retirement Business in Thailand.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within retirement, provident fund, and employee benefits markets.
• Maintain and expand a strong network of clients, industry contacts, and business partners.
• Support the Retirement Business Leader with strategy execution, market research, and project management.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and business development materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in retirement consulting, employee benefits, asset or wealth management, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Thailand’s provident fund and retirement landscape.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Thai.
