Consultant – Delivery Management (Site Mechanical Engineer)

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a senior Site Mechanical Engineer to join its Digital, Project and Construction Management business. In this consultancy role you will act as a key delivery manager on complex building and infrastructure projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to bring ideas to life.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections as requested by clients and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Guarantee that all works meet Aurecon’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and on‑site personnel to ensure smooth and timely implementation.
• Support the Project Manager and engineering team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain rigorous environmental, safety and health practices on site.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project delivery within the construction or infrastructure sector.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with colleagues, managers and senior client representatives.
• Demonstrated initiative in personal and professional development.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships.
