About the role
The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) seeks a consultant to develop a national disaster risk reduction (DRR) strategy risk overview and to manage the geospatial data pipeline for hotspot analysis in Timor‑Leste. The role will support the integration of risk information into policy and investment decisions and will be based remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive national DRR strategy risk overview for Timor‑Leste.
- Manage and maintain the geospatial data pipeline supporting hotspot analysis.
- Produce GIS‑based spatial analytics to identify disaster risk hotspots.
- Integrate risk data from multiple sources and ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with Timor‑Leste authorities and UNDRR stakeholders to align analysis with national priorities.
