Customer Success Roaming Manager APAC

About the role

Telenor Linx is looking for a Customer Success Roaming Manager to join its Roaming Commercial team in Bangkok or Singapore. The role owns the commercial development and performance of the wholesale roaming P&L for a portfolio of Telenor Business Units, acting as the commercial bridge between the customer Business Unit and Telenor Linx. It combines strategic influence with hands-on follow-through, with occasional travel.

Key responsibilities

• Own commercial performance: optimise the wholesale roaming business and P&L for assigned Business Units while supporting retail roaming priorities.
• Set direction and accountability: agree ambitions, targets and success measures, then lead monthly tactical reviews.
• Translate customer priorities into clear objectives for roaming negotiators and align the wider team.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as their primary roaming adviser.
• Use traffic steering and commercial insight to ensure discount agreements are fully used.
• Work with the Roaming Delivery team on which services open with which roaming partners.
• Use data, market understanding and commercial judgement to identify opportunities and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in economics or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in wholesale roaming and five years in business or account management.
• At least three years of experience analysing relatively large data sets.
• Experience with roaming services, partner relationships, retail roaming and roaming negotiations.
• Experience in virtual, international teams and fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Analytical thinking and clear communication across commercial, technical and operational teams.
