Data Scientist / Senior Analyst – Supply Analytics (Bangkok)

About the role

Agoda’s Supply Analytics team in Bangkok is looking for a Data Scientist / Senior Analyst to turn data into actionable insights that improve inventory quality, partner economics and overall growth. You will work closely with partners on the ground and collaborate with product, supply and other cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate internal briefs into analytical projects, refine questions, develop hypotheses and storyboard outputs.
• Extract and analyse data from large‑scale warehouses, delivering statistically robust analysis to business stakeholders.
• Identify growth opportunities within supply and launch new analytical initiatives to boost organisational efficiency.
• Lead projects that scale the use of data, insights and intelligence across the Supply organization.
• Automate manual operational processes and quantify time‑savings from modernised workflows.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of experience in analytics, data science or business intelligence.
• Advanced hands‑on SQL and strong experience with Tableau for data visualisation.
• Proficiency in Excel and a programming language such as Python or R.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, mathematics, economics, finance).
• Solid understanding of statistical modelling and machine‑learning techniques (hypothesis testing, regression, logistic regression, random forest, etc.).
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership.
• Experience designing and analysing A/B experiments and delivering data‑driven recommendations.
