Senior Security Engineer – Cloud & Platform (Bangkok)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Security Engineer to secure our cloud and platform environments. The role works closely with engineering teams, building, reviewing and operating security controls using Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes and custom services written in Go and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage secure cloud deployments across AWS and GCP using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage internal and third‑party security products within Kubernetes, using GitOps tools such as Argo CD, Flux and Helm.
• Develop security tooling and services in Go and TypeScript, and automate remediation of cloud misconfigurations.
• Provide secure architecture guidance to engineering teams and embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and optimise cloud‑native detection rules and alerting pipelines for suspicious activity in cloud and container workloads.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security or platform engineering.
• Hands‑on experience securing production workloads in AWS and GCP.
• Strong experience designing and securing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes security, Helm deployments and GitOps‑based workflows.
• Proficient programming in Go and TypeScript; Python used for automation.
• Experience embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Required certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
• Preferred certifications: AWS Certified Security Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, HashiCorp Terraform Associate.
