Finance Manager – Bangkok, Thailand

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the Finance Department in Bangkok, ensuring accurate accounting, statutory reporting and tax compliance across the region. Reporting to the Country GM and providing monthly results to the Area GM and FM, the role supports the company’s growth model and drives financial excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes, journal entries, reconciliations and Hyperion data submission.
• Prepare management reports, variance analysis and financial commentary for senior leadership.
• Coordinate annual budget, re‑forecasting and bi‑monthly/weekly cash‑flow forecasts for the region.
• Support statutory audit and tax submissions, maintain audit trails and ensure compliance with Thailand tax regulations.
• Oversee credit and debt management, monitor debt‑or‑ahead (DA) turnaround and prefunding processes.
• Streamline finance workflows, implement efficient reporting systems and introduce cost‑management best practices.

Required profile

• Advanced spreadsheet skills and strong analytical/problem‑solving ability.
• Experience with Thailand tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Proactive, dynamic and innovative mindset with fluency in English.
• Background in a multinational environment and proven leadership of finance teams.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel).
• Thailand tax compliance and liaison with Revenue Department.
• Knowledge of Thailand accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Familiarity with UNIT4 accounting system (desirable).
