Founder's Associate

About the role

Doit is an insurance platform that was built in 2019 and is now the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia. It is looking for a Founder's Associate to work closely with core teams on high-impact initiatives across engineering, product, hiring, operations and business development. The role is remote, but candidates must be based in Thailand, and English is the main working language.

Key responsibilities

• Drive high-priority initiatives across the business.
• Work with leadership to solve business and product challenges.
• Build new teams, processes and capabilities as the company grows.
• Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
• Research new markets, products and business opportunities.
• Improve operations by identifying problems and implementing practical solutions.
• Take ownership of projects and deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong problem-solving skills and business judgment.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• Comfortable working across different business functions.
• Strong ownership and execution skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Candidates who only want to attend meetings, cannot follow up aggressively, need fixed scope and slow timelines, or avoid messy cross-functional problems are not suitable.

The interview process is fast: an online assessment or practical task, then a role-specific interview, followed by a CEO/final round; strong candidates may receive an offer within a week of starting interviews.
