History Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate History Teacher to join our international school community. You will foster a safe, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment where students feel confident to explore historical concepts and develop critical thinking skills.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a supportive atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and a good struggle for all learners.
• Plan, deliver, and assess personalised history lessons aligned with curriculum standards and student needs.
• Gather, document, and analyse evidence of student learning to set targets and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student progress and share feedback.
• Participate in professional development, learning visits, and school improvement planning.
• Lead learning spaces—both physical and digital—to ensure they are safe, accessible, and conducive to active student participation.
