Interior Designer - IKEA Bangna

About the role

IKEA is looking for an Interior Designer for its Bangna store in Samutprakarn. You will help create relevant, functional, aesthetic and commercial home furnishing solutions that position the IKEA brand as a leader in life at home in the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Create home furnishing solutions in room settings, homes, vignettes and sales support areas that reflect the IKEA identity
• Apply critical skills in layouts, interior design and home furnishings
• Stay up to date on home furnishings, retailing and trends to contribute creative ideas in workshops
• Seize commercial opportunities while considering their impact on financial results
• Contribute to the department action plan and execute agreed plans with the Com&in team and other functions

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in interior design with a proven portfolio
• Deep knowledge of interior design and layout
• Strong ability to generate, visualise and present new ideas
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and to handle both critical thinking and physical execution on the shopfloor
• Confident in communicating clearly in Thai and English
• Team player with ambition to grow in their career
• Leadership experience is a plus
