Manufacturing Engineering Internship – PowerTrain Solutions

About the role

This internship supports Bosch's PowerTrain Solutions manufacturing plant in Thailand, focusing on EV6 series production and new line relocation. You will work on start‑up activities, process monitoring, and continuous improvement to meet quality, cost and output goals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with start‑up preparation, SOP implementation, ramp‑up, and OEE monitoring for EV6#1 and EV6#2 production lines.
• Work on scrap reduction, cycle‑time improvement, productivity gains, and machine reliability.
• Create and update Work Instructions, Production Quality Instructions, and training materials for shop‑floor staff.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve production volume and SQCD targets.
• Participate in shop‑floor meetings, support audit preparation, and follow up on audit findings.
• Provide general support to the production supervisor and undertake assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Thai and English.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving, time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Availability for a minimum four‑month internship.
