Production Team Leader – Manufacturing (MFW3.1)

About the role

As a Production Team Leader you will drive daily manufacturing performance at Bosch's first smart factory in Thailand. You will lead a team on the shop floor, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and collaborate with cross‑functional groups to meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily, weekly and monthly objectives to direct reports.
• Manage production based on OEE, productivity, delivery and overtime targets.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to achieve SQCD goals.
• Lead root‑cause analysis, troubleshooting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Review and validate production data records (check sheets, 5S, tool life, parameters, etc.).
• Enforce BPS standards on the shop floor, including CIP, SMC, LPC, 14Q basics, QAM and FMEA‑Linewalk.
• Ensure safe equipment use, schedule maintenance and calibrations.
• Train new employees, maintain a skill matrix and organise trainings.
• Conduct shop‑floor production meetings for component, main and final assembly areas.
• Maintain plant standards such as Safety, 5S, Pull principle, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949.
• Support HR functions including vacations, leaves and absenteeism.
• Motivate associates to undertake small improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3‑5 years of leadership experience in an automation environment.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams for quality improvement and complaint management.
• Strong leadership, quality mindset, entrepreneurial attitude and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.
