Programme Coordinator (Bangkok-Based)

About the role

The Asia Centre is looking for a Programme Coordinator based in Bangkok, a Thai national who speaks and writes English, to support the organisation of events, training sessions, speaking engagements and other activities. The role covers event concepting, promotion, speaker and participant coordination, and logistics, including budget preparation, venue and caterer quotations, travel coordination and end-of-event reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conceptualise seminars, conferences, speaking engagements and training sessions.
• Liaise with speakers, trainers, participants, sponsors, donors and vendors.
• Handle logistics, catering and travel arrangements for each event.
• Design promotional materials and promote activities through the website, email and social media.
• Run pre- and post-event surveys and write end-of-event reports.
• Support the administration and financial management of events, training and speaking engagements.

Required profile

• Thai nationality only; the position is open to Thai nationals.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in events management, public relations, communications, tourism and hospitality, or a similar qualification in social sciences and humanities.
• At least three years of work experience.
• Excellent spoken, written and presentation skills in English.
• Experience drafting event concept notes, programme outlines, reports and proposals.
• Able to manage logistics, catering, accommodation and travel, and to work under pressure with competing deadlines.
