Regional Sales Director - Heavy Machinery (Chinese/English)

About the role

A Chinese manufacturer of excavators and heavy machinery, active in construction, mining, road building and earthmoving and present in more than 100 countries, is looking for a Regional Sales Director based in Bangkok. The role leads the sales team in the assigned region and drives revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
• Establish and manage customer databases, segment customers and assess their creditworthiness and business potential.
• Analyse sales performance, product demand, market trends, inventory movement and customer data to support business decisions.
• Create and implement localized marketing and sales plans to grow brand awareness and market presence.
• Work with operations, logistics, finance and marketing on order fulfilment, inventory, pricing, invoicing and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and execute business strategy for the region and lead the sales team to meet company goals and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Good communication in Thai and English; Chinese and Thai preferred.
• Some knowledge of the Thai market is a plus.
