Sales Representative - Automotive Segment

About the role

Stanley Black & Decker is hiring a Sales Representative in Thailand, reporting to the Sales Leader. The role leads sales activities to meet targets for a business covering roughly $3 million in new business per year, focusing on the automotive segment. The company's engineered fastening business supplies fasteners for cars and electronics, pipeline construction and inspection, and hydraulic products for construction.

Key responsibilities

• Build productive relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts, focusing on the automotive segment.
• Conduct RFQ studies, submit techno-commercial offers, negotiate and close agreements.
• Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
• Work with sales teams and engineers, give feedback on product development, and prepare action plans for direct reports.
• Research new customers and markets, run demos, trials and technical presentations, and track competitors.
• Maintain a potential customer database and support the brand as a solution provider.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.
• 1-3 years of experience in automotive segment sales.
• Good command of English and computer literacy (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
• Japanese (JLPT N2 or N3) highly desirable.
• Valid driving licence.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork and ability to work independently and in a team.
